Mateo joined Baird in June 2026 with the Baumann Braun Group, shortly after his college graduation from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a bachelor's degree in finance. He plays an important role in the team's daily operations and delivers a high level of client service.
Mateo is currently working on gaining financial licensing, such as the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 licenses. He is eager to expand his professional knowledge to better serve clients and the team.
Outside of work, Mateo enjoys spending time with his family and staying active. He played soccer during his college years and continues to pursue soccer by joining recreational leagues. Through his experiences in collegiate athletics, he has gained a strong appreciation for teamwork, perseverance, and leadership. These skills carry over in his day-to-day life, allowing him to deliver excellent client service, and propel him forward in his career in Private Wealth Management.
